The latest senior moves, appointments and personnel changes in North American wealth management.

Thryve Wealth Management
Thryve Wealth Management has appointed Randol Curtis as co-founder and chief investment officer

Curtis will lead the investment platform serving Thryve’s wealth management business.

“His insight and deep experience will be a tremendous benefit for the clients we serve and the advisors we attract,” Gary K. Dorfman, CEO of Thryve Wealth Management, said.

Previously, Curtis was CIO of the wealth management business at Strive. Prior to this, he was deputy CIO at One Capital Management, where he led research and investment strategy across equities, fixed income, alternatives and currencies on $5 billion in assets. 

Thryve Wealth Management launched earlier this month as an independent firm, after previously being a division of Strive Asset Management.

Envestnet
Envestnet, the turnkey asset management program and provider of fintech-driven back-office services, has appointed Bhaskar Peddhapati as chief technology officer.

Peddhapati will report to Chris Todd, CEO.

Most recently, he served as senior vice president/head of mortgage technology solutions at Cotality (formerly CoreLogic).

“Bhaskar is an architect of systems, cultures, and transformation,” Todd said. “His track record of building global technology platforms, empowering teams, and driving innovation through data and AI makes him the ideal CTO as we enter our next era of growth.”

A global technology and product executive with more than 25 years of experience, Peddhapati brings expertise across fintech, cloud strategy, data platforms, and AI/machine learning.

He also spent more than a decade at NielsenIQ, the market research organization; earlier in his career, Peddhapati held senior roles at Wells Fargo.

Raymond James
A quartet of financial advisors has joined the independent advisor channel of Raymond James: Brian Keister; Jody Chiapelli; Sara Hinthorne; and Joshua Keister have arrived from Commonwealth Financial Network, where they managed about $357 million in client assets. 

Based in Bethalto, Illinois, as KCH Financial, the team includes office manager Terri Keister and client service associates Mary Burnett, Danielle Wright and Abby Carter.

Raymond James also welcomed financial advisor Bryan White to the firm’s independent advisor channel.

White, who was previously at UBS Financial Services, where he managed about $180 million in client assets, is joining the established team at Centennial State Wealth Advisors. He began his career in 1999 at National Planning Corporation and affiliated with UBS Financial Services in 2011. In addition to his 25 years of financial services industry experience, he holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northeastern State University.

Financial advisory Jay Bell has joined the independent advisor channel of Raymond James in Hunt Valley, Maryland. 

Bell arrives from Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company where he managed about $150 million in client assets. He leads Terrapin Ridge Partners, providing financial planning and investment management services to clients, with a specialized focus on business owners, corporate executives with concentrated stock positions and retirees.

In total, Bell has more than 17 years of financial services industry experience backed by a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park alongside the Certified Private Wealth Advisor®, Certified Financial Planner ® and Certified Exit Planning Advisor® designations. He began his career in 2008 as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley and affiliated with Northwestern Mutual Investment Services in 2009.
